Dear Dr Asadi

I think everyone deserves a doctor like Dr. Asadi. If you know someone with spastic cerebral palsy, I would love to tell you more about his expertise and his procedure.

Dear Dr Asadi,

Three weeks ago today, you saved my life. In July, I was given a death sentence and on May 14th God used your team’s knowledge, wisdom and skill to keep me from unimaginable pain and early death. I don’t have adequate words to thank you. Every day before surgery since November 29th  we prayed…

-Dr Asadi would be well rested

-patience for healing

-no infection at spinal sight (there was none)

-little need for nerve meds (I didn’t take any)

-no/little nerve pain/zaps

-no loss of feeling in my legs (it’s still numb but it gets better every day)

-strength and stamina for physical therapy

-use all set backs and celebrations for His glory

-wouldn’t be an inconvenience for anyone that has to help me

All of these prayers were and are being answered. Thank you for your compassion, your confidence in me and the masterful work of your team to change my life forever. You’ve helped thousands of others so, I’m not alone in my gratitude. But, YOU chose ME when most doctors would have said I was too old, a risk. I will never forget it.

You say the only real way to save my life is if I do the work now, so I’m trying my best to leave you in awe of what God is doing. I’m a small moment in the story of your life, a vapor. But, I’m so glad that God made you a very important, forever part, of mine.
